May 10-12, 2018 • Elks Lodge, 602 S. Elm, Lusk, Wyo.

It is with great pleasure that we announce and invite our fellow constitutionalists to our Constitution Party of Wyoming’s Fifth State Convention. The Convention will be held May 10-12, 2018, at the Elks Lodge, 602 S. Elm, in Lusk.

The purpose of the Convention is to elect the State Executive Committee, adopt party platform/bylaw changes, vet candidates, hold standing committee meetings and carry out any other business necessary in keeping with state bylaws. This is an open venue (except for the Elections/Credentials Committee) where people are encouraged to attend and participate. Much of this will be conducted during the committee sessions, May 10-11.

The committees’ work will be presented to the general assembly the evening of May 11 and on May 12, at which time county delegates will vote on those items presented. For a complete list of standing committees and their duties, click here. If you would like to serve as a member on a committee, please call (307) 870-6868. Your participation is greatly appreciated and necessary for an effective convention, and I encourage your attendance.

Each county is encouraged to bring as many delegates as they can. Each county is allowed only two delegates and two alternates to be voting members of the general assembly, however. Counties must report their delegates and alternatives 14 days prior to the date of the convention to the State Executive Committee County Liaison. The names of the voting delegates will be called during the convention’s roll call.

The cost to attend the convention is $40 per person, with children 12 and under free. This includes the Friday evening and Saturday noon meals. After May 1 the price will increase to $50, so be sure to register early. Again, more participation makes for a stronger party. You can register online by clicking here or download a printable registration form.
